MEMBERSHIP PLANS

Southern Oregon Family Farms currently has several ways for interested parties to join the organization. The channels include Association Membership, Farm Ownership, and Investor Opportunities.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

Southern Oregon Family Farms provides farm owners and non-farm owners alike a way to contribute to SOFF’s mission while garnering the benefits of being a member of a traditional cooperative or trade organization. We intend to hold regular networking meetings for both recreational and informational purposes, to sponsor events, and to keep our community updated with regular emails and newsletters. We want to provide our members with benefits such as promotions, gifts, and/or business deals. Finally, we want to provide our membership with recreational opportunities such as social events and farm tours.

FARM OWNERSHIP

The farm owner benefits from the cooperative. Farm owners meeting the criteria for becoming a part of the cooperative become a priority of the organization’s operations. For this reason, ownership in the cooperative is limited. Our intent is to take on cooperative farm ownership in tranches. As SOFF grows the cooperative through the success of its owners’ dynamic sales and extensive support resources, we will be able to expand the capacity to bring on more farms as cooperative farm owners.
